Quality is heavy.
We'll carry it.

Burden of Quality is an independent software studio by Tanner Eustice. We design, build, host and look after web apps, mobile apps and AI systems — for people who refuse to settle for “good enough.”

[ The whole idea ]

Most software gets built fast and fixed forever. The corners cut on day one become the fires you fight on day three hundred. We think quality is a burden worth carrying — so we pick it up on day one, and we don't put it down.

[ Services ]

Four ways we
lighten the load.

Pick one, or hand over the whole thing. Everything we build, we're happy to host and look after afterwards.

[01]

Web & Mobile

Websites, web apps and iOS/Android apps that feel fast, look sharp, and don't fall over the moment real people start using them.

  • Marketing sites & web apps
  • iOS & Android apps
  • Design systems & UI
  • APIs & integrations
[02]

Hosting & Care

We deploy it, watch it and keep it patched. Fast, secure infrastructure — with an actual human on the other end when something goes bump.

  • Managed hosting
  • Monitoring & uptime
  • Backups & security updates
  • Performance tuning
[03]

AI Implementation

Practical AI that earns its keep: assistants, automations and smart features wired into the tools you already use. No hype decks.

  • LLM-powered product features
  • Workflow automation
  • Internal assistants & chatbots
  • Search over your docs & data
[04]

Consulting

A senior second opinion. Architecture reviews, tech strategy, project rescues — and honest answers about what to build (and what not to).

  • Architecture & code reviews
  • Tech strategy & roadmaps
  • Project rescue
  • Fractional tech leadership

[ How we work ]

No black boxes. No big reveals. Just steady, visible progress.

  1. Step 001

    Listen

We start with your problem, not our favorite framework. What does success actually look like?

  2. Step 002

    Plan

Clear scope, honest estimates, and a plan you can read without a translator. No surprise invoices.

  3. Step 003

    Build

Small releases, regular demos, real progress you can click on — not a big reveal six months later.

  4. Step 004

    Carry

Launch is the start, not the finish. We host it, monitor it and keep making it better.

Hi! 👋

[ About ]

One studio. Zero hand-offs.

Burden of Quality is the studio of Tanner Eustice — a software developer who builds for the web, for phones, and for the servers and AI systems that sit behind them.

When you work with us, you work directly with the person writing your code. No account managers, no junior hand-offs, no game of telephone. Just someone who cares way too much about getting the details right — and will happily tell you which shortcuts are worth it and which ones will bite.

The name says it all: quality is a burden. We're just the ones who like carrying it.

[ FAQ ]

Fair questions.
Straight answers.

What does a project cost?+

It depends on what we're building. After an intro call you'll get a clear, written estimate with scope spelled out — so you know exactly what you're paying for before any work starts.

Can you take over an existing codebase?+

Absolutely. We'll start with a review so you get an honest picture of what's solid, what's shaky, and what to fix first.

Can you host something someone else built?+

Yes. We'll audit it, move it somewhere sensible, and look after it from there — updates, backups, monitoring, the lot.

Is AI actually right for my business?+

Maybe! Sometimes the best AI project is a spreadsheet and a cron job. We'll tell you straight, and if AI is the answer, we'll build something that pays for itself.

Who will I actually be working with?+

Tanner, directly. No account managers, no game of telephone — the person you talk to is the person writing your code.
